THE
ORGANISATION OF THE ABC
Executive Committee

All members are eligible to stand for any
post in the Executive Committee.
The Committee is made up of the Co-ordinator, Treasurer, Tutor,
Secretary, Counsellor Representative.

BF Counsellors |
|
These are mothers who have breastfed their
own children and read a course in the science of counselling
breastfeeding women. These mothers come from different social,
economical and educational backgrounds. |
|

|
Trainees in the Breastfeeding
Counsellors Course |
|
On the 1st July 2004, all trainees who are
participating in the Breastfeeding Counsellors became members of
the ABC. |
|
|
|
Pregnant Women |
|
All mothers who participate in the
Antenatal Breastfeeding Course when they are pregnant become
members of the ABC. |
|
|
|
Helping and Supporting Members |
|
All who participate in any of the courses
have a choice of becoming members within any of the two sections -
as administrative staff and/or as helpers and/or as supporters.

The Helping section is made of members who get together to
work on the planned projects. This section includes
professionals who support the ABC by giving their time and
expertise free of charge.

The Supporting section is made up of those members who
want to remain in contact and attend activities organised by the
ABC.
